Easter Box

I just love Spring time with all the pretty colors and all the pretty florals..

I have been playing again in my craft room and did up with this candy box for my Aunt for Easter.

The idea came from DeeDee at her cute blog Scrapping With DeeDee She made a gorgeous Easter box and I just had to try one. I love the way she did hers with the soft yellows.

I used the template from The Cutting Cafe' What a cute place to go for inspiration and template files. Another fun place to shop with great prices and lots of cute files.

The basket is filled with about 6 of the mini snickers bars. Yummy!my favorite! I Can't believe there were any left over. Did I say I love Spring because of the candy!

It seems like I have been in my craft room more this week then all year. I am loving this spring weather and it is putting me into the mood to craft. It finally gives me a chance to get my crafting supplies out and get busy. Better then it stashed in a bag at the back of the closet.


Here is a tote bag that holds lots of goodies such as a little note purse, pen,bookmark, candy bar wrapper ( have to buy another candy bar for it..ate the last one) and card. I made this for a thank you gift to a very special person who has been such a blessing to me.

The tote came from Daisie company and is purchased as a printable. It was nice to just cut and glue and decorate. The other items are a mixture of different artist and designs. You can see them better by clicking on the picture.

Lattice Card

I guess when they say March is the National Craft month it is true as I have been in the mood to make cards and more cards. I think it is just the spring season or I must be really in a crafting mood.
Here is a oneI made for a friend. It is done with the wishblade and blue paper backed. It isn't very springy looking but I love the elegance of this card and also how it can be made very simple. I did a red one with red flowers and ladybugs on it for another friend.

A Wee Little Notepad

It is so much fun making these little notepads. They have the concept of a taco shape and hold the large post it notes. I don't really have a template for them but use a circle format on the wishbade.I am still trying to learn different things on that. Don't have it mastered yet but learning a little each time.

I have been trying to make a design for each holiday with the post it holders, I started out with Holloween and am now working on Easter. Hopefully I will get it done soon and posted... Just have to figure out the colors yet.
